Articles in the electronic and print versions of Data Science Quarterly are organized under four major sections:
- The Opinions section comprises op-eds with supporting documentation;
- The Research section presents research studies much like one would see in a peer-reviewed academic journal;
- The Cases section describes practical research problems, setting the stage for subsequent research; and
- The Reviews section includes commentary on technical books and data sources.
Submissions are accepted from people of all academic backgrounds and political persuasions. Self-promotion and product promotion are discouraged. Data Science Quarterly editors work with authors to ensure that articles conform to the journal’s style guide. Additional information for authors will be provided after the November 2020 US elections.
