About the Author
Tom works as a publisher, consultant, writer, and university instructor. He is president and owner of Research Publishers LLC. Tom is the author of Research and Information Services: An Integrated Approach for Business (2007), Data and Text Mining: A Business Applications Approach (2005, Prentice Hall), coauthor of Marketing Research and Information Systems (2003), and co-editor of Qualitative Research Online (2004).
Tom holds graduate degrees in psychology (PhD, psychometrics) and statistics (MS) from the University of Minnesota and in business (MBA) and economics (MS) from the University of Oregon. His undergraduate training was in the liberal arts at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Tom also completed the editing certificate program at the University of Chicago and the professional publishing program at Stanford University.
