About Jeff Walkowski
Jeff began his research career in program evaluation with the New York State Office of Mental Hygiene. In 1998 he ended a twelve-year career with M/A/R/C Research as its director of qualitative research services, and he founded QualCore.com.
Jeff is an experienced focus group moderator and is active in the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA). He co-chaired the QRCA Online Task Force and chaired its annual qualitative research conference in 2001, one of the leading conferences in the area of qualitative research. He served as the president of QRCA during 2003-2004.
Jeff has developed and taught courses in online qualitative research and online moderating. In partnership with Casey Sweet, Jeff created OMTS (Online Moderator Training Services), an online training program to help professional qualitative researchers design and conduct online research. A recognized expert in qualitative research online, Jeff has been interviewed on National Public Radio's Marketplace, and has been quoted in the New York Times.
